▶ National Secondary School Marching Competition - 8 Aug '06

The National Secondary School Marching Competition 2006 held in SUKPA Indoor Stadium Kuantan, Pahang on 8 Aug 2006 has been a tremendous success. JS Music is proud to be one of the sponsors of this annual event. This is also the first year that we initiated the "Best Percussion Award". We wish to congratulate the below winners of the competition:

1st Prize: S.M.K St. Joseph, Kuching, Sawarak

2nd Prize: S.M.K Chung Hwa Wei Sin, Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu

3rd Prize: S.M.K Victoria, Kuala Lumpur

Best Percussion Award: S.M.K Victoria, Kuala Lumpur

▶ Jazz Selecta "LIVE" from Bangkok Jazz - 15 Aug '06

Jazz Selecta is the only jazz show on radio in town that plays heavier jazz tunes from the likes of Cannonball Adderley, Miles Davis, Branford Marsalis, The Brecker Brothers, Horace Silver and many others. The day had come where Jazz Selecta was broadcasting 'LIVE' from Bangkok Jazz! Our founder, Jin (on drums), has had great pleasure to join the famous Ramlan Imam (on bass), Dato Mokhzani (on piano), Isyam Swardy Daud (on guitar) and many others in the live Jazz performance.
