For the budget conscious, the MS Series offers the same tonal quality and clean appearance as the MX, but without the adjustability. The two-ply (7.5mil each) MX2 Marching Bass head is equipped with the same unique tone damping system as the MX1...enhancing articulation and focusing low-end. The second ply adds focus and attack, while making it the most durable bass head available.
